A high-quality wine of Médoc

Our Terroir, Our Future

Château Nouret is located in the north of Médoc. It extends over 21 hectares.

Since the owner bought it in 2012, he has tended to make wines with low yields that show the appellation in its best light. Another key aim is concern for the environment and reduced use of pesticides.

Tasting commentary on our Château Nouret 2012 by Herman Dedapper, 1st Master-Sommelier of Belgium and 3rd world and Michel Praet, Editor-in-chief of Authentic Wines and Terroirs :

“A brilliant, quite deep, dazzling ruby colour. Soft, seductive, jammy strawberry and Morello cherry aromas combine with lactic and sweet spice aromas. This well-constructed, serious wine has a distinctive structure and a really concentrated substance that reveals stewed fruit flavours (plums, cherries) leading to a concentrated, pleasantly lingering finish. This wine has now opened out and retained an appreciable overall freshness.”
